Christmas Card to Make You Tear Up
Twas the night before Christmas, he lived all alone,
in a one bedroom house made of plaster and stone.
I had come down the chimney with presents to give,
and to see just who in this home did live.
I looked all about, a strange sight I did see,
no tinsel, no presents, not even a tree.
No…
In memory of those who gave their lives in services of our country.

A Little Bit of Pretty: As much as I complain sometimes about the Army...
I feel so incredibly blessed to have the privileges of being able to buy groceries, clothing, anything I need really…. all tax free. For a two person family, the Army has given my husband and I more than enough. And the pride of taking care of your soldier and supporting him even though you might…
starting on a journey
I started this Tumblr blog and Facebook page to encourage any military/Army wives out there to speak up and share their stories. There are many wives out there that don’t have to motivation to make a change in their lives, or feel better about themselves, even if they are a great and beautiful person. This shouldn’t be the case anymore. I want to share the lives of others to help our fellow wives. So I’ll start with my story.
My husband and I have had our up’s and down’s but there has been no end of support from him. He has always trusted in my ability to do what I need to do and let’s me do it. I pursued my Bachelor’s degree, got it, and now I have a successful career doing something I love. I wake up every morning having the confidence to trust my own abilities and get through tough work situations. Even a crappy day will be better tomorrow. I wasn’t always this way. I never thought I’d do anything remotely worth while, especially when I almost failed out of my last semester of college due to excessive partying. (C’mon we all have a little fun.) But you can do it, with kids, with family, with money issues, you can push through and become what you want to be.
